This recent presidential election was indeed an interesting one. That’s all I’ll say about that.
Whom ever you may have voted for, it’s important to not get emotionally wired up. There are many things that the media feeds us but at the same time there are several things the media does not. Either way, we have to live through these days of this new presidency. You have a choice, that you can be miserable and upset or find a way to grow, be happy and benefit.
I suggest…growing, being happy and finding ways to benefit so that you can take more control over your own life and not let the decisions that may happen affect you the best way that you can. You have to pay attention to a few things but with a different mindset.
So here are a few things to watch:
1) What is important to the new administration.
2) What is not important them.
There will be opportunities for both.
#1) Whatever they believe is important, there will be a lot of money flowing to it. Investing in those areas should do well if you are early enough. So pay close attention. For example: Look at all the fuss and work going on around the healthcare reform. It appears that either way, healthcare companies will continue to gain and make more income, especially if premiums go up once again. If that’s the case, do you think healthcare is a good sector (area) to possibly invest in?
It’s a case in where you watch where the money is going.
#2) Whatever they don’t think is important will probably be less expensive to invest in. You can find good deals there…however you may have to be really patient for growth. If a certain area is neglected by the government or found to not be important to them, there are typically less funding, grants , etc for that sector. Here is an example: Our current President is an old school industrial thinking type of guy who doesn’t believe in global warming. Well that means the green energy industry will be left to find most of their funding from other sources. So, that particular area may have a good amount of neglect or less attention than before. That makes most green energy stocks more affordable to purchase. However, understand that it may be a few years or even more before you see any growth.
Hopefully this helps you to pay attention to not just what is being said, but what is NOT being said as well.
Happy wealth building!
